He is predeceased by his wife Margaret, his Son Brian, parents Holmes and Christina, brother George and Sister Hazel Edwards. He leaves behind children Dennis, Kevin, Timothy and Charlene (Dragon); six grand children and four great-grand children. Bernard Retired from driving tractor trailer for CPC in Sturbridge after more than 40 years. He was endeared by family, friends and neighbors for his abilities of story-telling, mechanics, knowledge of history, culture and anything in the World Book Encyclopedia. We will forever remember him working on his many tractors and automobiles, bee hives, Indian motorcycle and family home. He never turned down an opportunity to help someone in need whether it be a place to stay or something in need of repair. He was the Dr. Dolittle to many fur children both wild and domestic. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice.
